Delores Johnson

Herald and Delores Johnson had a passion for helping others, and worked to provide resources to those in need. As Charter members of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, Delores used her accounting skills to assist with the financial position of the church and later founded the TUCC Credit Union, while Herald provided oversight as an electrical engineer to the facilities obtained by the church, including its 2000 seat sanctuary. Together, they combined their efforts to provide money to students attending college and helped them to not only "to go to college, but to get through college". After their passing,  the HeralDelores Johnson Foundation was founded to honor their legacy.
